Water level in Srisailam rises after heavy inflows

The Srisailam reservoir on the Krishna River is witnessing a significant surge in inflows, offering timely relief to farmers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Thanks to consistent rainfall in the upstream states of Karnataka and Maharashtra, the reservoir is now receiving 1,02,051 cusecs of water, according to the irrigation department's report on Thursday.
