'Shining Stars' receive honours across Rayalaseema dists

MINISTERS, MPs, and district officials honoured hundreds of meritorious students across Kurnool, Nandyal, Nellore, Chittoor, and Tirupati on Monday as part of the Shining Stars Awards initiative, celebrating academic excellence in Class 10 and Intermediate board exams.
The awards, which included a ₹20,000 cash prize, medals, and certificates, were presented at district-level ceremonies organised by the respective administrations.
In Kurnool, Minister for Industries, Commerce and Food Processing TG Bharath called students 'future game changers' and praised their innovative thinking. He appreciated the state government's Pratibha Puraskar initiative, which aims to reward merit and motivate young achievers. "Students should pursue careers aligned with their passions—whether in technology, arts or sports—not just follow parental expectations," he said. Panyam MLA Gouru Charitha and In-Charge Collector B Navya were present.
