Central Aid for Handloom Sector Sought

MINISTER for Handlooms and Textiles S Savitha on Sunday urged Union Minister for Textiles Giriraj Singh to extend Central aid to Andhra Pradesh to generate more employment opportunities in the handloom industry.
Savitha, who attended Bharat Tex 2025 being held in New Delhi, explained the problems of handloom weavers and workers in the State due to a lack of proper marketing facility for handloom products to the Union Mi
