Move follows deadly border attacks that killed civilians, forcing over 130,000 people to flee

THAILAND's acting Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai warned Friday that cross-border clashes with Cambodia that have uprooted more than 130,000 people "could develop into war", as the countries traded deadly strikes for a second day.
Meanwhile, Thailand's foreign ministry said it agrees in principle with a Malaysian proposal for a ceasefire between Thai and Cambodian forces and will consider the plan, but that it must be based on "appropriate on-the-ground conditions," as reported by The Reuters.
