A 10-year-old boy was killed and 11 others, including his mother and sister, were injured in a mysterious explosion near Wilson Garden between 8 am and 8:20 am on Friday.
A 10-year-old boy was killed and 11 others, including his mother and sister, were injured in a mysterious explosion near Wilson Garden between 8 am and 8:20 am on Friday. Fifteen makeshift houses were damaged in the incident; the cause of which is yet to be confirmed, though a gas cylinder blast is suspected.
The deceased, Mohammed Mubarakulla, succumbed to injuries at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital. The blast occurred at the house of Kasturamma in the congested Sri Rama Colony, opposite Adugodi post office on DG Road, Chinnayanapalya.
