IT was an early day at work for corporation workers and officers on Monday as they scrambled to remove trees that were uprooted by the gusty wind and rain on Sunday evening. Technical staff of internet service providers also had a busy day restoring cables.

Heavy rain and wind on Sunday night caused widespread disruption across the city, bringing down large tree branches, damaging property, and affecting internet connectivity. Corporation deployed workers early on Monday to remove the branches and clear the roads for traffic.
