Party national leadership now weighs all options

AS state BJP kickstarted the process to elect its new state president, all options are open before the seat aspirants.

Though there is no major challenge for incumbent president K Surendran to continue, the national leadership has been actively weighing all available options. The matter related to electing a new president did not figure in the last core committee meeting held in Thiruvananthapuram. The returning officers to elect a new state president - Pralhad Joshi and Vanathi Sreenivasa - had not attended the core committee meeting.
