How Adonai Companion Animal Care Built a Legacy of Pet Healing

In 2007, a modest car shed in Thiruvananthapuram became the unlikely starting point of a dream.

With just one assistant and a handful of patients, Dr. Annie Varghese, the young veterinarian, balanced government service with private practice, driven by a quiet determination to serve animals in need. The early days were humble, with only two or three patients coming in.

More than a decade later, in 2019, the journey took a decisive turn. After taking voluntary retirement from government service, the doctor committed fully to building something larger and more impactful. What began as a small practice has since grown into Adonai Companion Animal Care, a full-fledged multi-specialty hospital dedicated to the health and well-being of pets.

Today, the hospital is staffed by six doctors and around twenty dedicated professionals, making it one of the trusted names in veterinary care in Thiruvananthapuram.
