3 from Gujarat arrested by MP cops for duping investors in 16 states

THREE men from Gujarat have been arrested for running a cyber fraud racket and duping people from 16 states of at least ₹7 crore with a promise to skyrocket their investments, police said on Tuesday.
Vishal Jhala (27), Lakshman Thakor (47), and Nirav Popat (43), who hail from Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad, were arrested after probing a cyber fraud case involving the cheating of a man of ₹17 lakh in Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh. The complainant from Mandla alleged that he was lured through WhatsApp to invest ₹17 lakh through online trading. Using a fake application software, the fraudsters first showed him that his investments were rising, but later the same app showed negat
