A 24-year-old private college lecturer died by suicide at her residence in Vuyyuru town on Sunday night, allegedly due to prolonged domestic abuse.
The woman, identified as Sri Vidya, left behind a suicide note addressed to her younger brother, expressing sorrow over not being able to tie Rakhi this year.
Police recovered the note on Monday, which detailed the mental and physical torture Sri Vidya had endured since the first month of her marriage.
