MINISTER for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw, along with senior officials, on Monday held a meeting with representatives from the online gaming industry to discuss the implications of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025.
The discussions also focused on the promotion of eSports and social games as part of the government's broader digital ecosystem strategy. As per government sources, the meeting addressed key concerns, including orderly transition to the new legal framework and protection of user funds.
