18 Juveniles Detained for Gang-Raping 3 Teenage Tribal Girls in Jharkhand

Survivors warned against reporting the incident
EIGHTEEN juveniles have been detained in connection with the sexual assault of three minor tribal girls in Jharkhand's Ulihatu village.
According to police, the incident occurred on February 21, under the jurisdiction of Rania Police Station in Khunti. Five girls were returning from a marriage ceremony in Ulihatu to Nichitpur when they were confronted by 18 minor boys near the Karo river. Some of the juveniles took turns to assault three of them, they said.
