A SWAYAMSEVAK of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) can propagate culture and values to the society only when he inculcates and puts it into practice in his life and Hiriyuru Krishnamurthy was one among them, opined Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarakaryavaha (General secretary), RSS.
He was speaking after releasing a book titled 'Krishnasmrithi', a collection of articles about late Hiriyuru Krishnamurthy, who was instrumental in organising RSS activities in Shivamogga district for more than three decades, here on Saturday. He said it was the selfless service offered by such swayamsevaks that built the RSS in the country. "They did selfless service and contributed with a sense of duty to serve the society.
