Davangere is increasing day-by-day and now Ukkadagatri temple in Harihar is under water.
The taluk administration has instructed that no one should go to the temple from the Nandagudi side as the road was submerged in water. Many shops near the bathing ghat of Karibasaveshwara temple in Ukadagatri were also flooded.
The temple administration has warned devotees coming to the Kshetra not to enter the river.
Roads, bridges submerged
As the river water level has increased, Ganesha temple on the riverbank has been submerged.
Therefore, the temple authorities have installed signboards to prevent devotees from entering the river for taking holy baths.
Due to the overflowing of the Tungabhadra river, the road connecting Ukkadagatri from Nandigudi in Harihar taluk was completely submerged.
