NEP Must Be Implemented To Protect Tamil: Maha Guv

The National Education Policy (NEP) should be implemented in Tamil Nadu to protect the Tamil language, as learning in Tamil is fading in the state, said Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan here on Sunday.
Addressing the media at Coimbatore International Airport, Radhakrishnan said NEP has been formulated in a way that students can learn a third language, such as Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, or Hindi, and Hindi is not being imposed on Tamil Nadu as per NEP.
