Hundreds Take Part in Cyclothon to Raise Cancer Awareness

HUNDREDS of cycling enthusiasts, including residents of the city and members of the Shivamogga Cycle Club, took part in a cyclothon organised by Sahyadri Narayana Multispeciality Hospital in collaboration with the Shivamogga Cycle Club to raise awareness about cancer.
Nearly 300 individuals from all walks of life participated. The cyclothon was officially flagged off by Dr H M Nataraj, director of the Shivamogga Cycle Club, air veteran, and former joint controller at the State Accounts Department, along with Dr Aparna Sreevatsa, medical oncologist at SNMH. The rally commenced from Narayana Multispecialty Clinic on Kuvempu Road and passed through key landmarks such as Usha Nursing Home, Vinobanagar Police Station, Alkol Circle, Gopal Bus Stand, and NT Road before concluding at Sahyadri Narayana Hospital, Harakere.
