Liquor outlets told to comply with licensing norms

The Prohibition and Enforcement Wing (PEW) of the state police conducted a joint meeting with bar owners and TASMAC outlet supervisors in the district, instructing them to operate only with valid licences and warning against selling liquor sourced from Puducherry.
The meeting, held in collaboration with TASMAC and excise department officials, saw the participation of around 50 private bar owners and TASMAC supervisors. According to officials, nine of the 48
