Gold loan: NBFCs to gain from LTV ceiling rise

NON-BANKING players in gold loan space such as Muthoots and Manappurams will benefit more than banks who are the industry leaders in this space from the increase in the loan-to-value (LTV) ceiling provided in the final directions on gold loans by the Reserve Bank, says a report. The new norms will be applicable from next April.
