Sait Opens Blood Camp Held to Show Solidarity With Soldiers

In a unique initiative, to boost the morale of soldiers and to show solidarity with the armed forces for Operation Sindor to end terrorism, the District Health and Family Welfare Department in association with KR Hospital Blood Bank and Jeevadhara Blood Bank held a massive blood donation camp at Beedi Workers' Hospital in Kalyanagiri on Saturday.
Hundreds of blood donors, including Congress party workers, students and activists from various organisations, participated in the camp. The health staff collected 484 units of blood during the event.
Speaking to reporters during the event, MLA Tanveer Sait said that when it comes to the matter of national security, every citizen must display unity and support the initiatives taken by the government in protecting the nation from outside threats.
