Residents Oppose Establishment of Hospital on Fairground

WHILE residents have welcomed the taluk hospital in Kushalnagar, several people opposed the move to construct the hospital on the land where a temple fair takes place in the town.
The local temple committee called for a meeting to discuss the matter, and a memorandum in this regard will be submitted to the MLA soon.
The state has given the green signal for establishing a 100-bed capacity taluk hospital in Kushalnagar. The authorities concerned have finalised the project that is proposed to come up on the fairground at the town premises. However, many residents have opposed this move to establish the hospital on the fairground.
