These corporations have historically played a crucial role in addressing socio-economic disparities, but their impact was often limited by insufficient funding and lack of strategic direction.
Under the current leadership of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, and with Minister Shivaraj S. Tangadagi at the helm of the Department of Backward Classes Welfare, there has been a marked shift in approach. Unlike previous administrations that may have only paid lip service to these institutions, the present government has demonstrated a strong commitment to their success.
