'Why will Vijayendra bribe someone to shield Congress leaders involved in Waqf property encroachments?'
FORMER MLC G Madhusudan on Monday dismissed allegations against BJP state president B Y Vijayendra, accusing him of attempting to bribe former Karnataka Minority Commission chairperson Anwar Manippady with Rs 150 crore to suppress a report on Waqf property encroachments.
Addressing a press meet at the BJP office here on Monday, he termed the allegation made by Congress leaders, including Minister Priyank Kharge, as baseless and illogical. He questioned the logic behind such claims, asking, "Why would Vijayendra bribe someone to shield Congress leaders involved in Waqf property encroachments? This claim is nothing but a joke," he said.
