Display helpline numbers outside hotels, factories to report child labour cases: Judge

ZAIBUNNISA, Senior Civil Judge and member secretary, District Legal Services Authority, said on Thursday that the helpline and contact numbers of the labour and other departments concerned must be displayed in all restaurants and factories to report child labour cases which is not happening on a big scale.

Observing Anti-child Labour Day in Mangaluru, civil judge Zaibunnisa said, "Student life is a golden life and we have a responsibility to ensure they get it. Children are our future. Hence, we need to ensure they are mentally and physically healthy. So it is our responsibility to ensure children are enrolled in schools until the age of 14," she said.
