Tannirbhavi beach to be developed as major tourist destination of region

TANNIRBHAVI Blue Flag Beach which is being developed as a major tourist destination of the region will be promoted under 'One District One Destination' programme.
Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan M.P said the Blue Flag beach is already developed at a cost of Rs 8 crore and works in providing infrastructure like lighting, CCTV cameras etc are in full swing. Tenders have also been floated for the maintenance of the beach in which several big players have taken part, said the DC.
