A Class 5 student of a private school at Yogapura on the outskirts of Vijayapura, who was allegedly assaulted by his three seniors five days ago, succumbed to injuries on Thursday.
Tension prevailed at Yogapura when the body of Ansha Jagtap, 11, was placed in front of the school building by his family members and locals, who staged a protest alleging negligence on the part of the school management.
