The RSS states that peace is gradually returning to the state, although a full return to normalcy will take time.
On the conclusion of the three-day annual Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharaks Baithak (meeting), attended by Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar said that improvement takes time when situations deteriorate.
He said, "If we compare to last year, normalcy has started setting in Manipur. It is the beginning of peace. Talks are being held on both sides so that a path will emerge from it. The situation will take some time to return to fully normal."
The meeting also covered the ongoing efforts to promote social harmony. Ambekar said positive results were emerging from the efforts of volunteers, who were engaging with both sides involved in the conflict.
