Asks to name electors & submit declaration under Rule 20(3)(b) for action to be initiated

The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Karnataka, has asked Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, to submit in writing the details of alleged irregularities in the election process that he referred to during a press conference held on Thursday. The CEO has also enclosed a declaration under Rule 20(3)(b) of the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, for Gandhi to sign and return.
