Reprieve for K M Abraham as SC stays CBI probe

IN a major relief to Kerala chief minister's chief principal secretary K M Abraham, the Supreme Court on Wednesday stayed a CBI probe ordered by Kerala High Court against him in a disproportionate assets case.
"We stay the Kerala High Court order," said a two-judge bench, comprising Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice Manmohan. The apex court also issued notices to the CBI, the Kerala government and the complainant, activist Jomon Puthenpurackal,
