HC took suo motu action, sought detailed report
CM Hemant Soren has ordered suspension of the Civil Surgeon and other officials at Sadar Hospital in West Singhbhum district after five children contracted HIV following transfusions with infected blood.
The matter came to light after the family of one of the affected children lodged a complaint with the Deputy Commissioner and the state government.
