Youth Held for Raping Minor Girl on Multiple Occasions

The Thiruvalla police have arrested a 23-year-old youth for allegedly raping a minor girl he befriended on Instagram, on multiple occasions.
The accused was taken into custody from near Badarpur in Delhi by a special team of the Thiruvalla police.
According to the police, the accused had been raping the 17-year-old girl at various places between January 1, 2021, and March 31, 2024. The accused befriended the minor girl on Instagram and used to constantly communicate over the phone.
