Crude Prices Fall Over 1% as OPEC+ Hikes Output

CRUDE oil prices slipped more than 1% on Monday after OPEC+ surprised markets by announcing a larger-than-expected increase in oil production for August, raising concerns about potential oversupply.
Brent crude futures fell 1.2% to $67.50 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude dropped 2% to $65.68 per barrel. However, Brent later rebounded, trading at $68.66 per barrel as of 17:30 IST.
