Centre declines nod to Punjab power minister for visit to US

ONCE again the AAP-led Punjab Government and BJP-led Centre are at loggerheads, as the Union Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has denied political clearance for Punjab Minister Harbhajan Singh to attend the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) Legislative Summit 2025 in Boston, Massachusetts, scheduled for August 4 to 6.
Singh is the fourth AAP leader to be denied approval for international travel, with the MEA citing security concerns.
