Teen's death: Mother's note says he was victim of extreme ragging

STIRRING a controversy over the tragic death of a 15-year-old boy who fell from the 26th floor of an apartment in Tripunithura on January 15, the mother of the deceased has raised serious allegations, claiming that her son was a victim of "relentless ragging and bullying" at his school.

In an open letter widely shared on social media, Rajna P M, the mother of the boy and an entrepreneur, said her son was relentlessly harassed and tortured by a group of peer students.

She alleged that the gang forced him to clean a toilet by licking it and even turned on the flush while his head was inside. She asserted that her accusations were based on concrete evidence and demanded a detailed probe.
