Jio Financial looks to enter life, gen insurance in alliance with Allianz

JIO Financial Services is looking to enter the general and life insurance businesses, extending its partnership in the German insurance major Allianz in reinsurance, and offer the whole suite of insurance products.
The move comes as it is expected that Parliament will pass the composite insurance bill anytime soon. Once passed, an insurance company with a composite license can offer all sorts of insurance—life, general and health covers, as is widely available across the world.
