Diligent efforts of the Kerala police led to the conviction of three accused for the murder of Mysuru-based traditional healer Shaba Sherif.
The scientific and digital evidence presented before court played a crucial role in ensuring that the culprits are brought to justice.
On Thursday, the Manjeri Additional District Court convicted Shaibin Ashraf (first accused), 42, of Kaipenchery, Nilambur; Ponnakkaran Shihabudheen (second accused), 36, from Sultan Bathery; and Naduthodika Nishad (sixth accused), 41, of Nilambur. It found them guilty of culpable homicide.
