Sudhakaran criticises former council, secy for stalled project implementation

MP K Sudhakaran has launched a scathing attack on the former council and secretary of Kannur corporation, accusing them of blocking an urban beautification project he had proposed under a Union government scheme.
Speaking at the inauguration of the corporation's urban beautification initiative on Saturday, Sudhakaran expressed disappointment that the earlier council had refused to take up his proposal. However, he refrained from directly naming former Mayor T O Mohanan in his criticism.
