CHEMBANTHOTTIYIL near Sreekandapuram in Kannur is all set to witness the land's history unfold with the Bishop Valloppilly Smaraka Kudiyetta Museum. The museum, under the state government, will serve as a tribute to the courage and resilience of Kerala's migrant population who settled in the Malabar region from Thiruvithamkoor (Travancore). Minister Kadannappalli Ramachandran will inaugurate the museum on August 4, which is named in honour of Bishop Sebastian Valloppilly, a revered figure who guided and supported the settlers during their early years of struggle.
