Responding to a long-standing demand from locals, a naming ceremony for two prominent lakes in the Shri Mangai Nagar area of Vadgaon was held on Wednesday with great enthusiasm and strong community participation.
The lakes, now officially named Shri Mangai Devi Lake and Shri Hanuman Lake, have long served the Mangai Nagar community by supporting groundwater levels and providing essential water sources for livestock, especially aiding farmers in Patil Galli and Vishnu Galli.
