President Murmu to Open KLE Cancer Hospital on January 3

THE inauguration of the Karnataka Lingayat Education Society's (KLE) Dr Sampathkumar Shivanagi Cancer Hospital in Belagavi by President of India Droupadi Murmu, which was scheduled for December 30, 2024, has been rescheduled to January 3, 2025 (Friday), after the demise of the former prime minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh.
In 2012, Chairman Dr Prabhakar Kore and the Board of Management of KLE resolved to set up a state-of-the-art Cancer Hospital at Belagavi. This 1,75000 sq ft, 300-bed hospital with cutting edge technologies, set up at a budget of over Rs 300 crore is now ready to extend its services formally. The hospital will be inaugurated by Smt Droupadi Murmu, Honoura
