Man Sentenced To 35-Year Jail Term For Raping Minor

ADDITIONAL District and Sessions Court (POCSO Court) of Kalaburagi on April 2 convicted an accused to 35 years imprisonment and slapped a fine of Rs 27,000 for raping a minor belonging to the ST community, according to special public prosecutor Shantaveera Tuppad.

In a press note released here on Thursday, Tuppad has stated that the accused and the victim were the natives of a village coming under the jurisdiction of Wadi police station and the accused and the victim and her parents were working as labourers in the Whitefield area of Bengaluru.
