KK Region Expecting ₹5,000 Cr Allocation in State Budget: Ajay

KKRDB chief says all 7 districts of the region will be told to submit action plans by April-end

Of the allocated Rs 5,000 crore to the Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board (KKRDB) for the year 2024-25, the Board has spent Rs 3,000 crore on various development works so far and the remaining amount will also be spent within the stipulated time, said chairman of KKRDB Dr Ajay Singh here on Monday.

Speaking to the media, Dr Singh said he would hold a meeting of the Board immediately after the Budget Session to chalk out an action plan of the Board for the year 2025-26. He said all seven districts of KK Region will be told to submit their action plans by the end of April.
