In 1920, Pandit Taranath received an order to leave the state of Hyderabad for his activities in Raichur. In this region, Hardekar Manjappa also conducted a lot of propaganda. Under Besant, the Theosophical Society helped spread national ideas in Old Mysore. The Theosophists established the Bangalore National High School in 1917.
