Strict land laws for unchecked transactions

CHIEF Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced that the Uttarakhand government is set to introduce strict land laws to curb the rampant buying and selling of land by outsiders.
According to revenue sources, the government has already seized 750 cases of land transactions that violated purchasing provisions in last month. These plots were originally bought for specific purposes but have since been misused.
