THE Himachal Pradesh government's proposed nature park, which includes jacuzzis and hot baths in the Parvati Valley of Kullu's Kasol, is facing stiff opposition from residents. They argue that Manikaran is a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Sikhs and transferring water from Manikaran to Kasol for commercial use is unacceptable.
