No coercive action: SC stays deportation of 6 of family overstaying in India

The Supreme Court on Friday directed the Centre not to deport to Pakistan six members of a family, who allegedly overstayed their visa, till their citizenship claim is verified.
A bench of Justices Surya Kant and N Kotiswar was hearing a plea filed by Ahmad Tariq Butt challenging the Centre's order to deport him and his five family members from India to Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack.
