Special drive launched in six districts to ensure zero dropouts in schools

SAMAGRA Shiksha launched a special initiative, named All Children in Schools (ACIS), to ensure all children are enrolled in schools and that there are zero dropouts at the block level this academic year.
As a pilot project, in a first phase, Samagra Shiksha has selected seven blocks in six districts to implement this initiative this academic year.
Vedaranyam block in Nagapattinam, Krishnarayapuram in Karur, Ayodhyapattinam in Salem, Ambasamudram in Tirunelveli, Jawadhu Hills at Tiruvannamalai and Kelamangalam in Krishnagiri have been selected for this pilot project.
