NIA Confirms 3 Pak-Based LeT Operatives Involved in Pahalgam Terror Attack

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has for the first time officially confirmed that "three terrorists" were directly involved in the terror attack in Kashmir's Pahalgam which claimed 26 lives on April 22.

According to the officials, the terrorists chose the picturesque Baisaran meadow due to its high number of tourists' presence and relative isolation.

A spokesperson for the NIA, which is probing the case, said, "Three terrorists were directly involved in the attack," adding that the target was also chosen considering the "response time" from the security agencies.
