COIMBATORE: A 1-year-old boy and his mother were killed on the spot after a truck ran over them, near Thannerpandal Road in the city on Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as A Baby Bharathi (28) and her son A Lithish. They were residing at Raju Naidu layout in Peelamedu in the city.
