GDP Likely To Grow At 6.2-6.3% In Q3: Report

THE economy is likely to grow at 6.2-6.3% in the December quarter amid rising global uncertainties, even though the number is too low from an annualised reading as the economy had clipped at 8.6% in the year-ago period, according to a SBI Research report released on Wednesday.
However, the third-quarter growth rate is higher than the previous quarter when it fell to a seven-quarter low of 5.4%.
The official growth numbers will be announced by the NSO on February 28. So far this fiscal, the economy has grown at a low 6.02%.
