13 foreign nationals among 20 held as cops raid Gujarat rave party

POLICE raided a farmhouse on the outskirts of Ahmedabad city and arrested 20 people, including 13 African nationals, for allegedly consuming liquor during a late-night party.
The raid yielded 49 liquor bottles, nine hookahs, and paraphernalia worth nearly ~10 lakh. Party passes sold between 2700 and 215,000 were traced back to WhatsApp groups, hinting at a well-oiled underground network, police said on Saturday. “What unfolded inside resembled a nightclub scene: flashing lights, a live DJ, non-veg counters, and red tables littered with broken hookahs and half-filled glasses of booze,” said a police official.
